AIM HIGH with STI

Seek and listen to your heart; God will do the rest.

It was a God’s amazing blessing to me given an opportunity and a new level of journey in the field of teaching.  I was so blessed to be part in this democratic and friendly environment institution.

From the start ‘till the end, each day was filled with an excitement meeting with my first ever University students. Some maybe liked me and some didn’t but I know for sure that I was giving all of my best with a heart and confidence.  Through thick and thin, my fellow co-educators especially to our Dean and administrators didn’t leave me behind. They were always there to support and encourage us that we can be the best we can be.

Honestly, I don’t have any idea how am I going to start this blog because I have too much in my head. I just cannot exactly express it in a way I wanted to be.  How I love I could encode each details in here but I can’t. Everything has its limitations. I cannot even draw any emoticons to express how happy and lucky I was being in STI. Nevertheless, it could be better if I am going to give my insights about teaching as what I have learned with STI.

Foremost, teaching is FUN but not a joke! IT’s fun in a way you are mingled with different people highlighting their inner capabilities. Having them every day makes you discovers their differences and its true colors that sometimes the reason of your sleepless nights.  It isn’t a joke to bring some paper works at your residence just to get it done at the right time. Then, here comes the Friday! What you may call it? Thanks God It’s Friday (TGIF)! You will be happier because ooh goodness it’s Friday! I could sleep without expecting my alarm clock to buzz.  However, your supposed to be day-offs would end-up like weekdays. Why? Saturdays and Sundays are the days you would prepare your lessons for the whole week. Thinking about activities to be done and making PPT’s here and there.
Teaching is really an art. You have to dance wherever your feet will take you because it is mixed with lots of responsibilities e.g to students, school, communities, and so on.

Thank you STI, for challenging and inspiring me to pursue my career in education. You have molded me as a dreamer to aim high.
